ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL CLIENT SEMINAR
By: Nancy Honings, Office Administrator
On February 11, Quinn, Johnston, Henderson, Pretorius & Cerulo sponsored a Client Seminar entitled “Dynamics of Claims Handling” at the historic “The Inn at 835” in Springfield, Illinois. We were very pleased so many clients were able to attend despite the poor weather conditions!
Kevin Miller and Jennifer Morris presented updates to the Medicare Secondary Payer Act and the new requirements for adjusters regarding Medicare liens. Jay Scholl gave a presentation on Tort Case Law updates followed by a Post-Ready and Thornton Litigation Strategy presentation by Jon Stump. Matt Maddox also provided a Review and Analysis of Illinois Jury Verdicts.
An informative panel discussion on the issue of Claims Investigation and Protecting Privilege was conducted among Quinn Johnston partners Greg Cerulo and Peter Jennetten and adjusters Ross Brocksmith (Westfield Insurance) and Mike Carr (Auto Owners).
Immediately following the seminar, a cocktail and hors d’oeuvres reception was held in the South Parlor of The Inn.
If you were unable to attend the seminar and would like a copy of the Powerpoint and other educational materials distributed at the seminar, please e-mail Donna Grunder at dgrunder@qjhpc.com.
