Newsletter Feature - Deb Harper

Deb grew up in Elmwood, one of those small towns where everyone knows you, and everything you have done, which Deb loves! For that reason , Deb convinced her husband to stay in Elmwood after getting married and raise their kids.

For Deb, growing up in Elmwood was great. Her parents worked hard for everything they had and showed her what true love really is. They have and always will been her heroes. Deb remembers that all the neighborhood kids would be out as soon as she got up in the morning, in for lunch and then back outside again. All the parents in Elmwood had the same rule, you had to be in the house before the street lights came on, or else. Of course after dark, they would leave again to play flashlight tag. Deb says, "Life was great then!"

Deb has been married to Tim for 29 years and has two of the most wonderful daughters in the world! Tricia is 27, married and teaches 3rd Grade at Norwood. She has given Tim and Deb the best present ever this year, a beautiful little granddaughter, Kirsten. Deb's youngest, Jen, 23, is a graduate of Bradley and is working at OSF. Deb's favorite thing to do is spend time with her girls. Some things you may not know about Deb, she loves babies, puppies, thunderstorms and chocolate!

Deb started at Quinn, Johnston, Henderson, Pretorius and Cerulo 9 years ago this October. The best part about the legal field for Deb is the people. If Deb was not working at QJHPC she would first and foremost, be a stay-at-home mom again and run her very own doggie motel!
